I am, and have always been, Harry Gray Blakeman. I stylize it with my middle initial: Harry G. Blakeman. You are welcome to address me by any number of nicknames: Blueberry, Enrique, Tricky Harry, Francis, Bullet, etc. I enjoy working on my Mac, specializing in Web design and tech support. I like to run, and hang out with my friends. I quest for normalcy, but I doubt I'll ever conquer this feat. Spending most of my time making my life more efficient, I often don't have any time to do the things that make the efficiency practical.
I listen to the majority of my music on my iPod. I have a collection of over 500 complete albums. I rarely run out of tunes. For the most part it's alternative, folk-rock, britpop or electronic. It really depends on my mood, the song, and what I'm interested in at any given moment. When I'm home I sometimes listen to my music on vinyl, just 'cause it's more fun. I collect vinyl and hang them on my walls. Then I take one down when I want to listen to it.
As for movies, well I love them. My favorite way to watch movies for the first time is either in the cinema, or on my iPod. I have a collection of over 100 movies in iTunes. My favorite movie is Lawrence of Arabia, though I hardly ever watch it. I watch new movies all the time, and when I've got some down time I either try out an old favorite, or brush up on something different.
I don't have TV (I have a television, just not cable or satellite), what I watch is either online (I watch a lot online) or on DVD. Mostly from Blockbuster. Generally I watch sitcoms. I enjoy the light-hearted comedy that becomes irrelevant in mere minutes.
I can both read and write, and I do them often. Mostly I read online. (Are you seeing a pattern here yet?) I'm a Wikipedia buff. I do read books, though, don't get me wrong. I love The Catcher in the Rye, and anything else by J.D. Salinger.
Lately I've also gotten into books written by or about Founding Fathers.
I have a deep interest in politics, and would like to enter that rat race someday. I admire the all American, and the honest. I'm also not bad at lying. Needless to say, I'll probably be okay at it. Hmm.
Now I'm off to do more exciting things... ah, who am I'm kidding, there's nothing more exciting then this Web site. Ah, who am I kidding???
