'I AM LEGEND' - 12.27.07

Went to see I Am Legend finally today. I went in expecting a lot, and I got a lot too. It's has a good story, and was produced well. Very nice.

A side note: I am very saddened for the loss of Benazir Bhutto. The first woman to lead a Muslim nation in modern times will be missed.

POST BIG 2-5 - 12.26.07

Well ye-old big day has past. I hope everyone had a happy Christmas, and there was much excitment. Guess I'd better change the logo.

'NATIONAL TREASURE' - 12.24.07

Saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets today. The long-awaited sequel to National Treasure is very similar. Like the original, I enjoyed it. Also like the original, the plot was pretty simple. This time more then the last. It also leaves the end open for a third film. Surprise? Happy Christmas Eve!

'SWEENEY TODD' - 12.23.07

The newest Depp-Burton film, Sweeney Todd, is quite unique. It is extremely gory, much more then I had expected. The plot is pretty good, though at times it seems a little thin. All-in-all, I'd say it was good, but shocking. You really have to see it for yourself to understand.

'CHARLIE WILSON'S WAR' - 12.21.07

I went to see Charlie Wilson's War today. I enjoyed it very much, and would suggest it to most anyone. Kinda sad how we brought the Taliban on ourselves.

"ONSLAUGHT" BY DOVE - 12.14.07

Here's a new anti-beauty industry ad by Dove. I like the ad a lot, and it definitely gets it's point across, but... Dove? Dove is a wholly owned subsidiary of Unilever, a gigantic multi-national corporation. In addition to making a huge amount of ice cream, they also make a lot of beauty-care products. Hypocritical?

CHRISTMAS MAC AD - 12.13.07

I know what you're thinking. "Two posts about Mac ads back-to-back?" Normally I wouldn't, but this one has Santa Claus.

NEW MAC ADS - 12.09.07

Some new Get a Mac ads. They're pretty good, check 'em out.

STORM OF THE DECADE - 12.05.07

My hometown got hit by a typhoon this weekend. Lots of down trees (one in backyard actually) and power lines. Not a huge amount of distruction. According to the people who report stuff, winds topped out at 125 MPH. Spent 3 days in the dark (got out of school for 4 days though.) Found a leak in the roof. Ugh.

NEW PROJECT - 11.28.07

Normally I would let the RSS feed inform you of a new project, but I really like this one. Check it out.

TIGER TROUBLE - 11.27.07

Many Mac users have had some trouble today. A software update released by Apple today for their Tiger OS seems to be flawed. Most users report that after downloading the update, their computer displayed the "blue screen of death." I myself came to this problem this morning. I simply turned of the power. Everything went back to normal, and the update seems to have taken effect. For those sniggering PC users, I have but one point to make: Vista. Ha ha!

FREE RICE - 11.26.07

A day or two ago my TAG teacher sent me a link to this site called FreeRice. A first I thought it was lame, but really, it's genius. It teaches people, and feeds people, at the same time! Sweet! Check out the totals page, it's interesting.

v13.1 - 11.25.07

Most people who visit my Website often, know that it is always being re-mastered. Well I've decided to take a break from that for a while and focus more on content. Now I'll only do minor updates to version 13. The RSS feed will notify you of the newest update.

IN THE WAKE OF THE BIRD - 11.23.07

Thanksgiving has come and gone. I'd just like to say two things, (1) the Pilgrims were prudes, and, (2) they really didn't wear those silly silver buckles everywhere.

'BEOWULF' - 11.19.07

I went to see 'Beowulf' yesterday. Wow. Definitely interesting. Not sure if I really liked it. If it was meant as a comedy, then, yes. If not, well.... yeah. The new motion capture technology is pretty cool I think. I can see many more films shot like this in the future.

ONION CHARGES iPOD - 11.17.07

I know this is just another video on using household stuff to power other stuff, but I couldn't resist. Being an avid Apple geek, I will definitely have to use this trick when I'm stuck on a desert island. Provided this island ('Blakeman Isle') has onions and Gatorade.

WATER GOLFING - 11.12.07

There was quite a storm today. I, being a freak, decided to go golfing. On a bay. During high tide. Have you ever been water golfing? It's unique. After you get passed the soaking wet-ness, the game can actually be quite fun. The only problem is losing your ball is quite common. Luckily for me lightning is not common where I live.

'ACROSS THE UNIVERSE' - 11.11.07

I went to see 'Across The Universe' today. At first it seems corny, then it seems funny, then it becomes this never-ending acid trip. It finishes as a love story. Though this seems like a negative report, the viewer leaves with a strangely happy/mellow feeling. Just for the record, the PG-13 rating the film was given seems a little low for the film's content. The MPAA must be Beatles fans.

AAA POWER - 11.07.07

This is just something I saw on YouTube. It's pretty cool. Gives purpose to the AAA battery at last.

PHASE - 11.06.07

As I guessed the new iPod Game, Phase was released today. I was wondering what would make a game so important that iTunes would have to be updated. I found out. Phase is a Guitar Hero clone. (It's made by the creators of Guitar Hero just in case you were wondering.) It's pretty awesome. Users can load their own music on to the game, giving the game it's catch phrase: "Your Music is The Game". I highly recommend this game.

iTUNES 7.5 - 11.05.07

Just downloaded the newest version of iTunes: 7.5. Not a lot new. According to Apple there are numerous bug fixes and support for a new game called Phase. I have not seen the game yet, nor is it on the Store. Tomorrow is New Music Tuesday so we'll see if it goes on tomorrow.

OBAMA ON 'SNL' - 11.05.07

I just saw Barack Obama on 'Saturday Night Live.' After watching it, I read that his appearence was kept secret until the moment of truth. I think he's very funny, and we need that in a president. I think 'SNL' is undervalued right now, the stuff about Joe Biden is hilarious.

FINALLY GOT FACEBOOK - 11.04.07

Well I finally broke down and got a Facebook account a few days ago. After a few weeks of hearing nothing but great news about it, I decided it was time. I was hoping for an easy alternative to MySpace, a site which is bulky and often slow. Though it is nice, and I plan to stay on, I thought there would be more features. I'm also not to excited about the lack of personality on the profiles. But if nothing else, now there's more then MySpace.

NEW YOUTUBE DESIGN - 11.03.07

I was just checking out YouTube and saw the new Beta of their site. I must say it sure makes the old one look silly. I don't know if others agree, but I'd have to say this is a vast improvement to an already great site.

NEW iPOD TOUCH AD - 11.03.07

A few weeks ago this iPod came out. It's a pretty good ad, but I like the history behind it more. It was made by an Apple lover as a YouTube video. Apple's ad agency contacted the YouTuber (Nick Haley, 18 of the U.K.) and asked him for the ad. The rest is history. The first user-generated iPod ad.

HARRY'S BLOG - 11.02.07

I thought about it for awhile, and realized that since I got this Web site, I have not had a blog. Before I got the site I had a blog, but retired it upon the creation of the site. The first version had a blog, that was really more of a forum, but it was a try. Now the blog is back. I like it. I really can't decide if I like this format though. Maybe I'll get a Blogger account and route it here. The catch is, they market the words "Blogger" and "Google" so much you can hardly read the blog. I'll stick with this for awhile I think.
